ABOUT THE EVENT / 活动简介

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, a strong advocate of CSR over the past years, is proud to announce the launch of the 2020 CSR Awards.

The successful 2019 6th CSR Awards brought International and Chinese Business or organization Leaders, CSR experts, as well as representatives of Government all over China to Nanjing. Nine winners were selected and received trophies for their outstanding, innovative and world-class products, services, projects and programs implemented in the past or present.

The CSR Awards aim to acknowledge CSR successes, raise sustainability awareness, and share the CSR experiences with organizations looking to promote and exercise corporate responsibility in China.

All the entries will be assessed in a two-stage process by a jury representing a wide-variety of businesses, social organizations, and government representatives.

  • Open for submissions: 1st July 2020
  • Close for submissions: 30th  September 2020

The submission is OPEN now. Corporations, SMEs, business associations, charities, schools and development zones are eligible and encouraged to apply. The deadline for submissions is September 30th 2020

  3. Applications must be submitted in either word or PDF format. PDF Documents and nomination/applications over the word limits indicated in the form will NOT be reviewed.

General Theme: How can we preserve biodiversity?

2020 Special Theme: How can we respond to Covid crisis?

CSR Student Competition is aimed at raising early awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) among young people.

The theme above will enable students to foster students’ imagination and build their early awareness initiated to the field of CSR, as well as show their analytical, creative and problem solving skills. Candidates are invited to use one of the themes to outline their thinking, and exercise their creative and analytical skills to see how we should preserve ourselves / our planet.

The general theme is made at reflecting on one of our global challenges in light of the forthcoming COP15 on Biodiversity which is planned to be held in Kunming in 2021. The special theme is made under the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is another unprecedented global challenge at the moment, touching every community in every nation of the world.

The competition is freely opened to all students studying in China, regardless of their locations and grades. Winners will be awarded with prizes and invited to join our CSR Awards ceremony.

Prizes will be given in two or three categories depending on the age of students and total number of applications.

CSR Art Competition

Key Requirements:

Artwork can be in any medium, for example, students may choose to use photography, painting, drawing, digital design, sculpture, textiles or collage.

Maximum Size: A3 format

Format: High Definition JPG picture and original artwork should be submitted to Nanjing EUCCC Office

Deadline: 15th October, 2020 (Thursday)

Announcement of Winners: shortlisted students will be notified one week before the event in November 2020.
