ABOUT THE EVENT / 活动简介

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, a champion of corporate social responsibility for over twenty years, is proud to announce the launch of their 2024 CSR Awards. The goal of the CSR Awards is to celebrate organisations dedicated to excellent corporate responsibility in China, highlight innovative and sustainable products and services, and inspire others to ethical action.
The year of 2023 marked the 10th anniversary of the CSR Awards , honoring international and Chinese business and organization leaders, CSR experts, and government representatives from across China. 14 winners were selected and commended for their exceptional commitment to creating a positive social and environmental impact.

This year, as we entered the 11th year, we are excited to announce the new awards to better reflect the CSR trends and celebrate the achievements of CSR practices in new areas.

AWARD DETAILS / 奖项设置

Corporate Awards (MNC and SME)

These awards recognizes both multinational corporations (MNCs) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to corporate social responsibility.

·       Leadership in CSR & Sustainable Growth Award

This award is given to organizations that has shown outstanding leadership in integrating CSR into sustainable business growth strategies, making significant contributions to both the company’s success and societal well-being.

·       Green Impact Pioneer Award

This award acknowledges organizations that have been trailblazers in environmental sustainability, introducing innovative solutions or practices that have a positive impact on the environment

·       Climate Action Leader Award

This award celebrates organizations that has taken exceptional steps to combat climate change. It honors initiatives focused on reducing carbon footprints, adopting renewable energy, and implementing climate-friendly policies.

·       Excellence in Gender Equality and Empowerment Award

This award celebrates organizations that have made significant strides in promoting gender equality and empowering women, through policies, initiatives, or practices, within their workplace or beyond.

·       Employee Development and Engagement Award

This award honors companies that excel in employee development and engagement, providing training, career development opportunities, and fostering a culture of employee involvement and loyalty, as well as those who actively encourage and support participation of employee in community and CSR activities.

NGO/Social Enterprise Award

·       Excellence in Social Innovation 

This Award recognizes non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or social enterprises that have made a significant impact on social and environmental issues through innovative solutions or projects.

2024 Special Award

·       Sustainable Supply Chain Award

This award acknowledges companies that have demonstrated leadership in sustainable supply chain management, ensuring environmental, social, and economic sustainability throughout their supply chains.

Submissions are now OPEN. Corporations, SMEs, business associations, charities, schools, and development zones are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Applicants should complete and submit a separate application form for each award for which they are applying.

Participants may apply for awards in multiple categories, but will only be eligible to receive one award

Awards will be presented to both MNCs and SMEs. Please specify whether you are a MNC or an SME on the application form.

Documents must be submitted in Word or PDF format.

About the 2024 Student Art Competition:

Theme: How AI is Changing the World.

The CSR Student Art Competition aims to raise early awareness of corporate social responsibility among students.

In an era where technology is rapidly evolving, artificial intelligence (AI) stands at the forefront of innovation, transforming industries, shaping societies, and redefining human potential. To inspire the next generation of thinkers and creators, a student art competition that explores the theme “How AI is Changing the World.”will be organized this year.

Overview:

Open to all students regardless of grade level or academic standing. Winners will be honored at the 2024 CSR Awards Ceremony.

Note: By submitting your artwork, you give the European Chamber of Commerce permission to use it in CSR Award-related activities and promotional materials.

Prizes will be awarded in several categories according to the age of applicants and the volume of applications received.

Key Requirements:

Candidates are welcome to submit art in any 2-D or 3-D medium. Past submissions have included photography, painting, drawing, digital design, sculpture, textiles, and collage.

Maximum Dimensions: A3 Format

Format: Winners will submit a high-resolution JPG image via email as well as a physical copy of their artwork to the Nanjing European Chamber of Commerce office.

Deadline: October 11, 2024 

Announcement of Winners: Shortlisted students will be notified of their nomination one week prior to the ceremony.

Submission Process: Email your JPG image file to Annie Zhou at nanjing@europeanchamber.com.cn with the subject line 2023 Student CSR Art Competition.

Note: Only one submission per student will be accepted.
